GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Phoenix Police officials released the names of their officers that were involved in a deadly shooting in Glendale on November 13.
Officials say Sergeant Jeffrey Clement, 34, Officer Mark Rao, 45, and Officer Curtis Howard, 36, were all involved. All three have been with the department for over 10 years.
Glendale Police continue to investigate the shooting that left one dead.
Investigators said officers, in fear of their safety as well as for those around, responded with lethal force when 24-year Timothy Leon pointed his gun at officers after trying to flee.
Police have also identified Leon has a suspect in multiple armed robberies and carjackings.
