Phoenix Police: Wanted knife-wielding man steals money from market, threatens employee

Phoenix Police are searching for a man who robbed Papa Nacho's Market and threatened an employee with a large knife.

At 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, a suspect entered Papa Nacho's, which is located on the southeast corner of 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road.

Upon entering, you can see in the video the suspect trying to conceal his identity using his hoodie.

In his hand, he has a large knife, which he uses to threaten the employee with. The employee complied and handed over cash from the register.

The man then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20's, approximately 5 foot 5 inches to 5 foot 10 inches and weighing 150 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a baseball hat, a light gray hoodie, dark pants, with gray and white shoes.
