Police: 1 dead, another critically injured in shooting

TOLLESON, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Phoenix police say a woman is dead and another woman is in extremely critical condition following a shooting at a Tolleson home.

The Phoenix Police Department says the deadly shooting happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the home near 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.

Police say the two women were shot in their home by a suspect known to them.

One woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the other woman has been taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition.

The suspect remains outstanding, however, no information about the suspect has been released.

The investigation is ongoing by Phoenix police.
