PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Interstate 17 has reopened in both directions following a police incident.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, I-17's southbound lanes were closed at Glendale Avenue, and its northbound lanes were closed at Camelback Road just after 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Just before 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, ADOT officials stated, "I-17 between Bethany Home and Glendale has reopened. Traffic is still heavy in the area and crews are still working in the area."
