Police investigate shooting outside Phoenix bar

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night outside of La Pachanga bar near 19th Avenue and Campbell.

Officials say the situation began with a fight inside the business, which then went to the parking lot and into the street.

One man was shot in the back and transported to an area hospital. He's in stable condition.

Authorities say the suspect took off from the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a medium build wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and armed with a black handgun.
