Police investigate stabbing near Phoenix apartment complex

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are investigating a stabbing that happened in the area of 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Officials say they received a call from someone in an apartment complex stating they heard someone outside moaning and believed it was suspicious.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 20s who had been stabbed in the abdomen. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

Police say the victim is not cooperating with them and has not given them any information about a suspect or where the stabbing took place.
