SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Police officials in Scottsdale say an Apple Store was the target of an armed robbery incident Friday.
According to Scottsdale Police, the armed robbery took place at the Apple Store at Scottsdale Quarter. The incident involved a man who was approached by a loss prevention officer for shoplifting, and the suspect then produced a handgun. The suspect, along with a woman, fled the scene of a motorcycle, and the motorcycle was tracked by Phoenix Police Air Support to the area of 59th Avenue and Bethany Home, where the motorcycle was abandoned near a supermarket in the area.
Scottsdale Police officials said officers searched the area, but did not find the suspects.
