Police investigating multiple home invasions

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are investigating two home invasions in Phoenix on Tuesday.

Phoenix police say the first happened just after 12:30 a.m., several suspects broke into a home near 83rd Avenue and Thomas and demanded money and drugs from four people inside the home.

The suspects grabbed items from the house and left the area. Detectives are still investigating the scene, but they say there is evidence of drug activity at the house.

Police then responded to reports of a second home invasion near 46th Avenue and Indian School. After arriving at the home, police learned that the suspect forced their way into the home and then left the scene.

There were no injuries and police are still investigating.
