Police: Man's body discovered in downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say a the body of a man has been discovered in downtown Phoenix on Wednesday.

Phoenix police say officers responded to the area near Third Avenue and Roosevelt after 9-1-1 calls came in of a man's body in the area. The victim is believed to be a transient, however, the manner of death is suspicious.

A witness, who is on the scene, is cooperating with police.
