Police investigate 'suspicious item' inside Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A security checkpoint inside Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor Airport has re-opened following a police investigation of a "suspicious item" inside the terminal.

Phoenix Sky Harbor says Checkpoint A inside the terminal was closed for about an hour while police assisted the TSA with a suspicious item. All other checkpoints remained open.

Some American Airlines flights may be delayed and if you're heading to the airport, you should arrive at least two hours early before your scheduled flight time.
