Police investigating west valley shooting

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police are investigating a shooting in the west valley on Thursday morning.

Phoenix police say the shooting happened at an apartment complex near 40th Avenue and Camelback Road. After arriving at the scene, police found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim did not cooperate with police and he would not say who shot him.

He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing by police.
