Police investigating social media threat made at valley high school

Police are investigating a threat made on social media involving a valley high school over the weekend.

Phoenix police tell Fox 10 that a threat was made on social media towards regarding Cesar Chavez High School. Due to the threat, there will be increased police presence at the school on Monday.

Last week, two students were stabbed at the school and students and staff were ordered to shelter in place while fights broke out at the school on Friday.

The exact nature of the threat made on social media is unknown.
