Police looking for Tempe bank robbery suspect

Police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a valley credit union on Tuesday.

Tempe police say the the Arizona Central Credit Union near 3300 S. Price Road was robbed by an armed suspect described as a 6'0" to 6'2" man, who was wearing a green Army-type jacket, dark pants, red, white and silver motorcycle helmet and gloves.

Police say the suspect left the scene in a black and silver street bike with blue writing and headed southbound. As a precaution, all nearby schools were briefly locked down.
