Police: Man arrested for sexually assaulting neighbor

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police have arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting his neighbor over the weekend.

Glendale police say 33-year-old Noe Garcia was arrested after his neighbor told police she awoke to him assaulting her on June 11 inside her home near Glendale and 43rd Avenues.

The woman told police Garcia was on top of her when she woke up in the morning. She said Garcia later came back into her home and sexually assaulted her.

An unknown person fought off Garcia and officers followed a trail of blood to Garcia's home.

Garcia was booked into Maricopa County Jail and charged with one count of sexual assault, second-degree burglary and misdemeanor assault.
