Police: Man shot and killed overnight

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A man was shot and killed at an apartment complex overnight on Wednesday.

Phoenix police say a man in his 20s was shot and killed at 1:30 a.m. near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The shooting happened at the Desert Place apartment complex and the victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing by police and they are still searching for a suspect.
