Police located family of wandering toddler

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police have located the family of the toddler who was found by a neighbor wandering around a Glendale apartment complex.

Glendale police say the 3-year-old girl was found wandering in her sleep wear at an apartment complex near 67th Avenue and Glendale at 8 a.m.

Family members tell police the girl slipped out the front door of the apartment after a roommate left the apartment and the locking device on the door was removed.

The girl's guardian was asleep and not aware the girl had walked out the front door.

The Department of Child Safety is investigating the incident.
