Police search for convenience store robbers

The faces of three armed robbery suspects were captured crystal clear on the surveillance video of several valley convenience stores. The men are accused of robbing three different businesses in the span of just one hour Thursday morning. Now one of the employees is speaking out.

Police want the public to take a close look at the photos of the men who are wanted in three back-to-back armed robberies. In each case the suspects enter the store armed with a long-barrel hunting style rifle and demand money. The suspects would rotate roles during the robberies, two would enter and one would remain in the car.

Now valley convenience store workers work in fear, every time a customer walks through the doors they worry about what might happen.

"It is dangerous, they should probably have more security around here, because you know we want to get home too, they threaten us, they hurt us," said a clerk.

The robberies all happened between 1 and 2 a.m. Thursday morning. The first at 1:02 a.m. near 15th Avenue and Thomas, the second at 1:45 a.m. near Central and Buckeye, and the third at 2 a.m. near 54th Avenue and Indian School.

"You can't resist when something like that happens, we just want to get home to our families all we can do is do what they say," said the clerk.

All the suspects are believed to be 20-25-years-old.
