Police search for man who robbed beauty salon

Phoenix Police need your help to catch a brazen robber who held up a beauty salon at gunpoint, and the whole crime was captured on video. There were several views of the robber, and police hope the footage generates a tip that leads to an arrest.

A small, thin man walked into the El Y Ella Beauty Salon. He's wearing a gray hoodie and security cameras caught him from multiple angles as he pulled out a gun and walked up to Elio Celestino who works in the salon.

"He came in, pointed a gun at my back and so go behind the register. I told him to open it, he said no you open it, he took all the money and left. He said he wasn't too scared, angry he couldn't do anything," said Elio Celestino.

Carmen Andrade owns the salon at 15th Avenue and Indian School.

"Well we have been here for more than 30 years taking care of the Latinos, and all those years I have never been so cared, that has never happened to us before," said Andrade.
