Police are looking for a stolen FedEx truck that was carjacked in a Glendale neighborhood on Tuesday.

The Glendale Police Department says the truck was stolen from a neighborhood near 86th Drive and Oregon. Officials say the FedEx driver was just doing his job when he became the victim of this crime.

According to officers, they caught up with the victim of this incident near 87th Avenue and Missouri. He told police he was delivering packages in the area and when he returned to the truck, there was a man inside.

The driver described the suspect as a black male in his 30s that was wearing a ski mask.

When the driver approached the truck, the suspect pointed a gun at him. That's when the driver says a second black male in a white sedan pulled up behind him and pointed another gun in his direction.

The two suspects took off from the scene and headed west on Oregon Drive. Police believe they were headed south towards Camelback Road.

Police say the driver and victim of this crime is really broken up about what happened.

"I can't imagine how hard it must be for him this time of year, knowing everything in that truck was Christmas packages, holiday packages meant for families, so I'm sure he's just heart broken over what happened," said Glendale Police Sgt. Scott Waite.

The stolen FedEx truck's license plate is 9D13691. The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see the truck, do not approach it, but dial 911 immediately.
