Police: Special needs child's tricycle returned
PEORIA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say whoever took a stolen tricycle that belongs to a valley special needs child left it at a nearby park and officers returned it to the owner.
The Peoria Police Department tells Fox 10 that the tricycle was stolen from the home near 8200 W. Sweetwater Avenue on Saturday at 6:35 p.m. The tricycle belongs to a 16-year-old special needs child who uses the tricycle to get around the area.
The tricycle is a red, Delta Sun EZ-3 recumbent, with an orange flag attached to the back.
Surveillance video shows the suspect walking onto the property and stealing the bicycle. The suspect is described as a man with short hair and wearing a two-toned jacket, jeans and tennis shoes.
