Police: Stolen SUV crashes into valley gun store

AVONDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say an SUV crashed into a valley gun store early Monday morning.

Avondale police say the SUV crashed into the AZ Firearms gun shop near Litchfield Road and Van Buren at about 4 a.m.

Police say the SUV that crashed into the shop was a stolen vehicle, but they are not sure what caused the crash or if the driver of the SUV was attempting to break into the shop.

The owners of the shop say they are doing a thorough inventory of their merchandise and firearms but it appears no items were taken in the incident.
