Police: Suspect arrested in murder of Mesa woman

A man has been arrested in connection to the murder of a woman in Mesa.

Mesa police tell Fox 10 that 21-year-old Carmen Osorio was arrested on Friday in Coolidge in connection to the murder of Liliana Naranjo, who was found with an apparent gunshot wound near Stapley Southern on June 1.

Osorio has been charged with second-degree murder and misconduct involving weapons.

He refused to answer questions from detectives when he was booked into jail in Florence, but he will be transferred back to Maricopa County.
