Police: Suspects in custody following reported kidnapping in Glendale

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say multiple suspects are in custody following a reported kidnapping in Glendale.

According to Sgt. John Roth with the Glendale Police Department, two people claimed they were kidnapped and held at a house early Wednesday morning.

The victims told police they were able to escape and gave officers descriptions of the suspects. Police later located a vehicle matching the suspect's vehicle and two suspects were taken into custody.

According to the victims, additional suspects with weapons were at a home near 71st Avenue and Bethany Home Road. A SWAT team was called to the home and all suspects inside the home were taken into custody.
