Police use taser to arrest agitated man

Some wild video was caught on camera; it showed Phoenix Police officers deploying a Taser on a suspect who they say was damaging property, acting in an agitated manner, and even punching out bystanders.

FOX 10 viewer Sharon Jones started recording the man who was standing in the street and was going to throw a huge rock at her windshield. Just moments before, the suspect 24-yearold Lino Ruiz Aguilar did that to another vehicle.

Phoenix Police were called to the area of 19th Avenue, and Southern, and the first officer who responded was the target of rocks being thrown by the suspect.

When police used a taser on Aguilar, several reacted and screamed, shocked by the suspect's behavior, and others tried to capture the encounter on their cell phones.

Officers say only one officer deployed a taser, and they say it did the job. The woman who shot the video says she was thankful for the actions of the police.

Aguilar was booked into jail on two counts of assault, aggravated assault, and one count of criminal damage.
