Police: Woman shot in the head, husband arrested

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say a woman is in critical condition after she was shot in the head at a Phoenix apartment complex.

The Phoenix Police Department says a 23-year-old Hispanic woman was shot overnight at an apartment complex near 17th Avenue and Buckeye.

The woman's husband has been taken into custody and is facing charges.

The victim has been transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
