PowerBall office pools, what you need to know

With the PowerBall jackpot over $1 billion, it has many taking part in an office pool. But there is fear that if the group gets incredibly lucky, you may be the only person still working is a great motivator.
So put in your two bucks, but you might want to clear up some things first. What could go wrong? More than you think.
"All you have to do is Google horror stories with the lottery or office pools, and you will see many cases where people are no longer friends after something like this happened or there were misconceptions about the office pool," said Attorney Monica Lindstrom.
Lindstrom says a short and simple contract could help alleviate a lot of trouble down the road.
"Somebody says I put money in, and the administrator says I don't have proof of that, or the office administrator of the pool takes off," said Lindstrom.
It has happened, and when you're dealing with that much money, it can bring out the worst in people.
Lindstrom advises winners to see a lawyer, a CPA, and maybe see a therapist to deal with all the people who are going to be swarming you once word gets out that you are in the money.
