PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Good news for Little Foot, the puppy found with rubber bands around his paws -- he now has a forever home.
Little Foot was seven weeks old when he was found with his circulation cut off by rubber bands. He had been receiving special treatment at the Arizona Humane Society for his feet.
He recently went up for adoption and more than 20 families wanted to take him home, but only one could take him. The Humane Society says they are happy now as he has a family to call his own.
"Little Foot is just such an amazing pet, and he's just one of 17,000 stories that are like that," Kelsey Dickerson, spokesperson for the Arizona Humane Society said. "we take care of the sick, injured, and abused here at the Arizona Humane Society, so we are just so grateful for everyone's support out there. Not only the people who came here today in hopes of trying to adopt him but also everyone who has shared his story and anyone who donates."
The Humane Society says they think Little Foot's new owner is the right fit for him.
