Puppy rescued from drainage pipe passes away

The puppy who was rescued after being trapped in a drainage pipe has passed away.

The Arizona Humane Society says the puppy passed away while being in the care of her mother.

Phoenix police responded to a home near 39th Avenue and Buckeye for a drug-related search warrant on Aug. 20 when they discovered the trapped puppy.
