#RedforED rallies continue on the eve of statewide walkout

Arizona is just one day away from an unprecedented statewide teacher walkout.

Officials with Arizona Educators United say as many as 90 school districts are expected to shut down on Thursday.

On the eve of the walkout, teachers and supporters hit the streets once again to get their message out, as they line, block after block, for much of a 45-mile stretch of Baseline on Wednesday.

"Obviously it's never been done here before," said special education teacher Herman Edelson. "I think they're speaking a loud voice. It's not just about us, it's about the support staff and the money for the kids."

"It's frustrating that we have to go to this length in order to get what our children need," said special education teacher Kristy Rogers.
