Man rescued from construction equipment in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A man was rescued from an excavator in Scottsdale Monday afternoon.

The rescue took place on the 15000 block of North Greenway Hayden Loop, at the scene of a building that appears to be in the midst of a demolition project.

According to rescuers, a tile slab wall fell on the excavator, and they were able to get the worker inside out safely. The worker was taken to the hospital for leg injuries.
