Retailers in the Valley prepare for Black Friday

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KSAZ) - It's the time of year people look forward to, Black Friday, when retailers roll out their best deals for the busy holiday shopping season, and stores are starting to prepare.

"We're expecting a big turn out as always," says Brandon Noble from Best Buy.

Black Friday is just around the corner. This year the National Retail Federation expects 116 million people will shop that day, many looking for the best deals around to jump start their holiday shopping.

The most popular items, electronics. That's why Arizona Best Buy locations have been preparing for this date for quite some time now.

"You can't plan enough for how much inventory moves out, we are getting trucks in constantly with all the products and putting them wherever they fit," said Noble.

Brandon Noble with Best Buy says this year the hot items are home connectivity devices.

The National Retail Federation says sales in November and December could total upwards of 720 billion dollars. That's an increase of nearly five percent from last year.

The retail stores say they're ready.

"We have so much stuff, we put the extra shelves we have TVs lined up in the wal ways wherever we can find space we put it there," said Noble.

Happy shopping!
