Reward offered to find gas station robbery suspects

Police want to find a man and a woman who are accused of robbing a gas station and assaulting the clerk. a reward is offered for information leading to their arrest.

Silent Witness spokesperson Sgt. James Rothschild says the crime happened on Sunday, January 10th at a Mobil gas station at 54th Avenue and Indian School. Police say a man and woman entered the store wearing hoodies and simulated handguns underneath their clothing.

The man ordered the employees to the ground and kicked one of them in the back of the head. The suspects demanded money from the register and stuffed a backpack with stolen cigarettes. Both suspects took off on foot heading west.

Both suspects are 20-25 years old, 150 pounds, and wore black hoodies. The first suspect is described as a black man wearing an Arizona Cardinals beanie, grey pants and red Converse sneakers. The second suspect is described as a black woman wearing a red beanie, dark pants and a grey backpack.
