Reward offered to solve Cricket store robberies

Police are looking for two suspects involved in robberies of Cricket stories in the Valley.

Officers say the first suspect robbed a Cricket store on 19th Avenue and Greenway on Tuesday, March 8th at Noon; he reportedly showed a handgun, and demanded money and cell phones. The suspect then took off on foot.

Officers say the suspect then entered another Cricket store that same day on 32nd Street and Greenway at about 6;15pm. After the customers left, police say the first suspect showed the clerk a handgun, and both suspects demanded money and cell phones before they took off.

The suspects are described as black men in their 20's, five feet five inches to five feet nine inches tall. The first suspect weighs about 150 to 200 pounds, has a short beard, and wore a light gray hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect weighs about 225 to 300 pounds and wore a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a blue baseball hat with a red bill and yellow lettering.
