Salvation Army, other organizations team up to help students will food during teacher walkout

- The Salvation Army is teaming up with St. Mary's Food Bank and Fry's Food and Drug stores to make food available to students during the teacher walkout.

Over the next two days, more than a dozen Phoenix and Tucson area Salvation Army centers will distribute food items to children in need, and they hope to help around 3,400 people.

"It breaks our heart, and the Salvtation Army and other organization do everything we can to help those families in need," said Scott Johnson with the Salvation Army.
