SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) - Scottsdale Fire says the airport had to close temporarily after a plane made a belly landing and veered off the runway.
A spokesperson for Scottsdale Fire says the plane reported gear problems upon landing. We're told only one person is believed to have been on board, and they are not reporting any serious injuries.
Scottsdale Airport has reopened and is operational again. Earlier today around 1:15 p.m., a Cessna 172 made a belly landing, due to reported gear problems.
