SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Scottsdale Police have identifying the suspect shot and killed in Saturday's officer-involved shooting as 51-year-old Stephen Charles Arthur.
Police say he had no prior violent criminal history, but he did have a past DUI arrest and current arrest warrants for Failure to Appear.
Public Information Officer Kevin Watts with Scottsdale Police says at 9:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a bank robbery at the Comerica Bank near McDowell Road and Scottsdale Road.

Police say they found the suspect a few moments later in front of the LA Fitness in the same general area.
This is where, police say, the suspect and officers engaged in gunfire, and resulting in the death of the suspect.
