Several injured in wrong-way crash

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Several people were injured in a serious two-car accident on Friday morning.

Phoenix police tell Fox 10 that four children and one adult were injured in the crash near 75th Avenue and Highland. All of the victims have been taken to a local hospital.

The severity of their injuries is unknown.

As a result of the crash, southbound 75th Avenue from Camelback to Highland was closed during morning rush hour. The roadway has since been re-opened.
