SILVER ALERT: Mesa police search for missing man

MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police are searching for a missing valley man who was last seen early Monday morning.

Mesa police say 61-year-old Lucio Gutierrez Salazar was last seen at 4:30 a.m., near Gilbert and Broadway. He did not show up for work, which police say is highly unusual.

He is described as a Hispanic man with grey hair, brown eyes, 5'7" and 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans.

He drives a white 1993 Nissan Sentra with an Arizona license plate AKY-9853.

Mr. Salazar also suffers from the early stages of Alzheimer's.
