Snow Week comes to Arizona Science Center

There may not be any natural snow in the Valley, but that's not stopping the Arizona Science Center from celebrating Snow Week.

While snow is normally seen when the temperatures are freezing, the Arizona Science Center is working their magic.

"We get snow from a company called Ice Now," said Sari Custer with the Arizona Science Center. "They came in with several trucks."

Sari Custer is the "Vice President of Curiosity" for the Science Center. The whole point of the Snow Week event is to give people in the Valley the opportunity to learn a little bit more about what that white stuff is.

"We hope people come for the snow but stay for the science," said Custer. "We have experiments happening inside the Science Center all week long."

People will be able to play in the snow today through January 1.
