PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Phoenix Police officials said speed appears to be a contributing factor in a fatal motorcycle crash that took place early Friday morning.
According to a statement released Thursday afternoon, the crash took place at around 4:50 a.m., on the 800 block of East Elwood Street. The victim has been identified by Phoenix Police as Antonio Moa, 36.

According to police, Moa was heading west on Elwood Street when he lost control of the motorcycle. He was declared dead at the scene. No others were involved in the crash, according to police.
