PHOENIX, Ariz. (KSAZ) - St. Mary's Food Bank is doing everything they can to help make sure everyone has food on the table this Thanksgiving.
Monday the food bank will begin its 25th annual holiday food distribution, giving out holiday food boxes to thousands of families in need.
The organization held it's annual Super Saturday to collect turkeys. They received about 2,500 turkeys over the weekend but are still shy of their goal of 12,000. Donations are still welcome this week as the distribution begins.
Distribution will be Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The food bank expects nearly 4,000 people to line up Monday.
