Store manager shot in leg in Phoenix

PHOENIX - Police say a suspect is on the run after shooting a store clerk in the leg on Sunday morning.

The shooting broke out at 5am Sunday. Officers responded to the scene near 36th Avenue and McDowell and say a store manager was shot in the leg by a customer.

Injuries to the store manager are not life-threatening. The shooting suspect ran out of the store and fled the area. Police have not yet released a description of the suspect.
