Students raise money for special needs playground
CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Hard work from some Chandler elementary school children paid off, as a new special needs playground opened at their school. It's all thanks to a 7th grade girl.
It all started with her idea. "I thought lets get them a playground, then I wrote a pursuasive letter and that got it all started," said Maddie Riddle.
Then students and staff worked pretty hard to make it a reality.
