Suspect makes bomb threat during store robbery

Phoenix Police are trying to find a man who's accused of making a bomb threat at a Big 5 store.

Police say on Thursday, December 3rd just after 6pm, a suspect entered the Big 5 near 36th Street & Thomas in Phoenix. After the suspect insisted the clerk open the register and give him the money, the clerk refused. The suspect became upset and claimed there was a box inside the box he was carrying and that he was gong to set it off. The clerk still refused, and the suspect ran off.

There was no explosive device inside the box, but police want to find the suspect. He's described as a 55-year-old white man, about five feet eight inches tall, weighing 190 pounds and wearing a black knit cap, black and white checkered shirt and dark pants.
