TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Ever thought of infusing your beer with ingredients like spices, fruit, and vegetables?
Well, The Shop Beer Company makes it happen.
The shop has infused ingredients like garlic and peppers in the past, and the person in charges of creating the weekly combination is manager Courtney Buzzard.
On the menu today is a drink called "Drink & Be Berry."
"We'll do things when the seasons change," she said.
And the infusion process is done by using a Randall.
"It's a small container, we put the ingredients in the container, you have your keg and you run a line into the Randall," Buzzard said.
The beer sits in the Randall soaking up the flavors of the ingredients for 30 minutes to an hour before being poured.
Mikel Anne Arnce says "Randall Wednesdays" bring people together.
"Our team has a lot of fun doing it," she said.
And the locals enjoy it as well.
"I like good beer and I like people that know what they are doing with good beer," one patron said.
