TEMPE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Tempe Police have released new surveillance photos Monday, as they search for the suspects responsible for the theft of a wheelchair from a girl at a Tempe driving school.
According to officials, the wheelchair was reported stolen on February 22, between 9:00 a.m. and 10:40 a.m., in the area of Priest Drive and Broadway Road. The wheelchair is described as a purple and black Ti-Lite wheelchair.
The wheelchair is made specifically for Josephine Siegel.
"It's like taking my legs away from me," said Josephine. "That chair was made to fit me. My measurements to a tee."
The two took more than just a wheelchair.
"They took my legs away, and now, I'm in a loaner chair, and I'm not comfortable," said Josephine.
Anyone with information should call Tempe Police.
