Tempe Police searching for missing 50-year-old man

Tempe Police announced Saturday they are searching for a missing 50-year-old man.

According to a statement, Vincent Brown was last seen at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, when he walked away from a family member's home near Rural and Broadway in Tempe.

Brown, according to the statement, has medical needs which require daily medication, and does not have his medication, money, or phone with him. Officials said Brown is visiting family in Arizona, and may not know how to return to their home.

Foul play is not suspected, police said.

Brown is described as a black man, six feet, two inches tall with a thin build. Brown, police said, sports a short black "afro style" hair with a gray patch near the front, along with a black mustache with scar along the back of his necl.

Brown, police said, was last seen wearing a thin black jacket with the words "Vincent Brown" written on both sleeves, and black and blue athletic shoes with his name written along the sides.

Anyone with information should call police immediately.
