PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Four people were injured in a crash involving a fire truck on Sunday night.
Phoenix police tell Fox 10 that the fire truck was responding to an apartment fire when the crash happened near 43rd Avenue and Roosevelt. The fire truck collided with a car, which was then sent into another vehicle.
Four people were hurt, including three children.
One child suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The three other children were taken to a hospital as a precaution. No firefighters were injured.
Firefighters on the truck say the truck was driving with lights and sirens on, however, a witness at the scene says she did not hear any sirens. If the lights are flashing, the fire truck does have the right of way.
Police are investigating the crash.
