3-year-old boy dies after being found in Gilbert pool

GILBERT, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Gilbert police say a 3-year-old boy has died after he was found in a swimming pool last week.

Sgt. Darrell Krueger with the Gilbert Police Department says the boy died on May 28. He was found in a pool by his mother at a home near Elliot and McQueen Roads on May 23.

Police say the boy's death was an accidental drowning and there are no charges pending.
