Traffic lights out after vehicle crashes into electrical box near freeway

PHOENIX - Traffic lights are out at the off-ramp of a busy valley freeway after a vehicle crashed into an electrical box overnight.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the driver missed a turn and smashed into the power box. The adult male was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. His name has not been released.

MCSO says impairment may have been a factor in this case.

Power was restored just before 6:15 a.m. on Friday morning.
